Privacy policy

The Pack is operated by Impactful Canine, LLC in Alabama, United States. Privacy questions can be sent to team@impactfulcanine.com.

• Account information such as your name, email address, profile image, membership, and sign-in records.
• Dog profiles, training progress, assignments, practice notes, bookings, and coaching submissions.
• Private Community Board topics and replies, private trainer messages, reports, photos, videos, and other content you choose to submit.
• Device, browser, app diagnostic, notification, and security information needed to operate and protect the service.
• Purchase and subscription status. Payment-card details are handled by the applicable payment provider and are not stored by The Pack.

We use information to provide memberships and coaching, personalize training, deliver messages and notifications, process support and safety reports and the owner-only moderation queue, prevent abuse, improve reliability, administer purchases, and meet legal obligations.

We share only what is needed with providers that help us host the app, authenticate accounts, store data, deliver video, process purchases, communicate, and diagnose failures. These providers may include Supabase (accounts and data), Vercel (hosting), Mux (video), Stripe (web billing), Acuity Scheduling (Pack Walk, in-person, and coaching bookings), Zoom (scheduled video coaching), Apple, and Google. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

The iOS app uses The Pack’s first-party email and password sign-in. Google sign-in is not offered in the iOS app; it remains available only where shown on the web or Android. When used there, Google authenticates the Pack account and shares only the approved profile details, such as name, email address, and profile image. Google sign-in is not a Google Play purchase or subscription. The Pack does not currently offer Apple sign-in.

We retain information while your Pack account is active and as reasonably needed for support, safety, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, and legal obligations. You may request deletion on the account deletion page. We aim to finish verified requests within 30 days, subject to narrow legal retention requirements. A report may retain frozen Board or message evidence even if the reported content is later hidden or removed.

You can update profile details, manage notifications, report content, block users, or request account deletion. A block is shared across the Community Board and private Messages: it hides that author’s Board content from your view and prevents private messages between you while it remains. It is not a public notice to that person. We use access controls and encryption in transit, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. The Pack is not directed to children under 13.
